McLachlan Miniature Donkeys | Breeders

We are dedicated to breeding a select few, exceptionally bred, miniature mediterranean donkeys, with strong pedigree, good conformation, that are gentle and well-handled. We also intend to maintain the integrity of the cross.

We were interested in learning more about miniature donkeys and decided after visiting a breeder and experiencing these unique animals, that we wanted to begin breeding ourselves. Finally a jennet came available that was bred. We now have our first jack foal, Francis.

All our foals come halter trained, and eligible to be registered. Most importantly they are handled every day to ensure they are well-socialized. They are ready to go once weaned between 5 and 6 months of age.
